Cancellation Cover 2007- 2008
We operate a
holiday cancellation cover scheme
for all our clients booking with
us because an emergency can
occasionally make the best laid
holiday plans go awry. It
is bad enough having to cancel a
holiday, but even worse to still
have to pay for it. The
costs are shown below. To
obtain cover enter the cover cost
and all the names of the people
occupying the cottage on the
booking form.

Cover
Excess.......claims of loss of
deposit made up to 56
days before holdiay
will incur a £10.00
excess. Claims made within that 56
days will incur a £30.00 excess.
Booking
Terms and Conditions
A deposit
of 30% is payable on
booking. The
balance is due 4 weeks
before the first day of
the holiday. Where
the booking is made less
than 4 weeks before
arrival the full rental
is payable when booking.
The
main condition of
acceptance of any booking
is that Good Care is
taken of the property and
contents, and it is left
truly clean and tidy as
you will find
it. This care is to
include all utensils ,
crockery, equipment
etc. You should be
aware that all damages
and breakage's are the
responsibility of the
guests.
Following
receipt of the Booking
Form
and deposit you will be
sent confirmation of the
booking and you are then
responsible for the
balance of the rental,
and that all conditions
have been accepted by you
at the time of completion
of the booking
form. No further
reminder will be sent.
Holidays
are from Saturday to
Saturday and start from
3.00 p.m. on the arrival
day until 10.00 a.m. on
the departure day.
The
property is offered on
the understanding that no
more than the maximum
number of people as
indicated in the
brochure/web site shall
use it, except by prior
agreement. As our
property is principally
designed for family
holidays we reserve the
right to refuse any
booking which may in our
opinion, by reason of
numbers or composition,
be unsuitable for the
property concerned.
No
liability is accepted for
any loss, damage,
sickness or injury
however caused which
maybe sustained during
the holiday to the Tenant
or any member of the
party, or invited person,
or any car and its
contents, or any
possession of the tenant
or any member of the
party defined above.
Pets
may be allowed by
arrangement at any time
of booking. If a
dog (one dog per cottage)
is allowed then it must
be kept under strict
control at all times and
not left in the cottage
unattended. The dog
must not sleep on the
beds or furniture.
Guests
should provide all baby
bedding and baby food.
You
will permit us with or
without workmen or
others, at reasonable
times to enter, inspect
and if necessary to
repair the
property. You must
not assign or part with
possession of the
property, part of it or
anything contained in
it. Nor must you
use it for anything other
than a dwelling for
holiday occupation by
people whose names appear
on the booking form.
At
the time of preparation
no VAT is applicable but
if the situation changes
and it becomes payable it
will have to be added to
the rental.
If
there should be cause for
complaint - or accidental
damage - this must be
reported to us
immediately, otherwise
the matter cannot be
fully investigated.
It is too late to report
it after the
holiday.
If
you cancel a booking for
which you have contracted
we will do what we can to
re-let the property and
if we are successful we
will refund any payment
made by you - less a
handling charge of 10%
for every week
booked. If we are
unable to re-let the
property then you will
remain liable for the
balance of rent (if not
paid) and there shall be
no obligation on our part
to repay or forego any
rent paid or unpaid.
While
we make every effort to
ensure that any
descriptions,
advertisements or
representations are made
in good faith, neither
they nor any
representations made by
employees or any others
on our behalf shall
create any liability on
our part, and no special
condition, exception,
modification, or
liability, can be made or
accepted on our behalf
excepting only by the
principals in writing.
